Game crashes: questions and answers.

Hello! I'm having problems with my licensed Heroes 5: Tribes of the East. It started a couple of days ago. The computer seems to be working, the game launches, but when loading any map or trying to access Ubi, it crashes to the desktop with a prompt to send an error report. I checked the disc on another computer, and it works without any problems. Also, I'm not sure if it's related, but my 3G modem stopped working at the same time as Heroes. I bought a new modem, and it has the same problem. I checked the modem on another computer, and it works. I've tried everything I can think of, including formatting the hard drive and installing different operating systems, but nothing helps. Here's my computer configuration: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor 3200+ 2.01 GHz, 4GB RAM Asus EAH4650 series video card Computer repair centers refused to fix it. One said they don't deal with games, and another said the computer is too old. Please suggest something. Also, I tried playing X-Men, and it runs without any problems.
