A lot of money goes towards upgrading the undead. I'm already saving in every way possible – I build simple skeletons and zombies, and I take them to the fort for upgrades, where skeletons are upgraded for free, and zombies are upgraded at half price. Also, for some reason, the portal to the city doesn't work on the Sphinx Island – I'll have to return by ship. When I return, I'll take my army and immediately fly to Godric.
