The only one who seemingly never appeared in the newspaper was Kostyak; he can be suspected with much more reason than Hekasan, who at least appeared once. Although the argument is weak, it's still there. :)

And by the way, the troll might have intentionally pointed us towards Mirka so that by executing him, we would balance out the Mafia gnome that the troll is trying to eliminate, although whether he can do it without UD is another question...
