This is a scroll – I think I took it from a bunch of red sackcloths in the dungeon. :)

Regarding the school, I mastered the first two levels of darkness, and then I haven't visited it for a while. I've accumulated 4 runes, so I need to drop by sometime – I just don't have the time (real time).
