Miner with 1 stack, low gold, but dug up Solmyr and Ciele, and a bit later Deyemer. On 117 Ciele took a treasure zone external dwelling of horses, which then teleported. On the 2nd [day/week] found and took 2 hives with 6 ducks each, opponent meanwhile captured my Castle, where they dug in. At the start of the 3rd [day/week] I take a box for the entire 2nd level and with an army of 10 horses, 12 ducks, 11 Evil Eyes, 60+ Troglodytes attack Kalth in my main. It was serious there — 12 plain Medusas, 20 upgraded (quest), 24 upgraded Harpies, 20+ Gogs, 17 Evil Eyes, 30+ Imps and 4 Efreets, but Ciele had 80 mana, and Ice Bolt for 6 mana dealt 160, so I just pelted them.
Thanks for the game
Started briskly, gold was fine, but by day 4 a dilemma:
20-49 mummies to exit into the mud where nothing free is visible except a crypt
10-19 Medusas to exit into contact with the opponent, where Ciele and Solmyr with Deyemer are already showing.
On 115 we already took a re [recruit? round evaluation?] upon meeting, so this time the contact is exactly on 115 and will kill me :( Decided — I'll mow the mummies.
There were a lot of them, and the army only had 30 Gogs and meat (those pointy-hat guys really helped — unupgraded Gremlins from a pick-up [external dwelling]. Even survived to the end of the game, 14 of them :) ).
In the end, behind the mummies I only found a crypt for 1500 and a Castle. Further on, the path was blocked by Cyclopes (they were guarding a box, shifted).
¡Ay, Caramba! I see the opponent taking a box behind a horde of Nomads and taking a dwelling of uniques on 117 — absolute beauty! And for me the only road leads to him. Trade on three markets, buy up Efreets and Gogs, and I run into the center, sweeping a couple of pick-ups. Scary to go into contact with the main (there are up to 10 uniques, up to 20 Evil Eyes and up to 100 Troglodytes + a shooter, and I have 4 Efreets and 40 Gogs) — so I run along the road towards his Castle. By my calculations he won't reach me, and I have logistics. Predictably, after repelling Solmyr one more time (with a loss of some Gogs to the arrow) — I capture the empty capital. There I upgrade Harpies, buy them + Evil Eyes + Medusas and wait for the former owner (what else can I do?).
Ciele takes another box and goes into a portal in the center, disappearing there for a couple of days, but the dwelling troops are gathered in a small group, clearly expecting me to flee the town so they can chain-transfer the army and defeat Ciele.
We know — been there. Last hope — the dove, which in desperation I recaptured in the treasure zone from 19 Diamond Golems. Having visited all the huts on my side, I realize those two I see by the opponent will bring the long-awaited reward. They gave 20 gr. [upgraded] Medusas and I once again settle in his capital, having built a Stronghold and bought the second growth.
An attack follows.
Zloi described the battle, only the bolt dealt 170 :) I immediately calculated that even just defending stupidly he would wipe me out, because the total damage of 2210 would completely cover my little monsters (don't know why he was even worried).
Thanks for the game! If even one of the three factors hadn't lined up:
- Solmyr+Ciele+Deyemer
- Horse dwelling on 117
- 2 hives nearby
I might have pulled it off. For me, unfortunately, my actions were strictly dictated by the situation — even after analyzing the saves, I concluded that even theoretically I couldn't have played better :(
