Galthran showed up — played the map without question. Didn't explore the respawn much, the road to the portal was short, didn't find the stone mine, little gold, but plenty of other resources. All guards were tough — various dwarves, centaurs — so on the first week I didn't necro much, gathered 150 skeletons. On the second week I go into the treasure zone, a couple of stacks of imps, lots of weak units, kill everything, necro — the game looks better and better. Move on, see 2 Griffin Conservatories, a Necromancer's Cloak. Still no money. On the third week I grab the cloak, go for money in the naga banks, skeletons already nearly 500. I take 2 tier-3 Griffin Conservatories and a minimal Dragon Fly Hive, set my sights on the imp hovel, leveled up Galthran (the skill progression went perfectly). The opponent bursts in and kills my scout hero along with the whole army, except for 6 angels (which Galthran had), though he's left with 450 skeletons. I attack with Galthran. Kill Isra. GG.
