God... Truth or fiction?

Why would a god need to be accepted? Does his reputation improve because of it? Is he competing with the Devil? In my opinion, everyone does their own thing without interfering with each other. If you want to believe in God, believe, but don't mess things up yourself. If you don't want to believe, he won't care either way.
If anyone is going to judge a person after death, it will be history.
