God... Truth or fiction?

Why would a god need people to believe in him? Does his reputation improve because of it? Is he competing with the Devil? In my opinion, everyone does their own thing without interfering with each other. If you want to believe in a god, believe, but don't mess things up yourself. If you don't want to believe, it won't make him any hotter or colder.
If anyone is going to judge a person after death, it will be history.
