Favorites, to battle! - 7 - The Battle of Favorites! - 7

After a series of restarts, I got a good map with a large number of Hives, a single Conflux, and 3 Necropolis mines. The path to the center near the Castle was cut off from the main sand area; I noticed this a bit late, so I had to quickly run to another exit, which was further away. As a result, I reached turn 124 with about 50 Ducks, 37 Greater Minotaurs, and some other units. I immediately took the Knight Shield and more or less relaxed, controlling the center, while my opponent didn't show up. The opponent only appeared on turn 131 with a Solmyr and positioned himself within range. I carelessly attacked, forgetting to equip the Knight Shield. The opponent dealt about 20 damage to my Minotaurs with an explosion and then retreated. I gathered more Ducks and upgraded them, then rushed with the Knight Shield to his spawn point, where I killed him in the Castle without much difficulty. The next game went significantly worse.
