How do you get 300k movement points? I've been messing around with it and I don't understand how it works.

The hat has a flawed algorithm for converting land movement into sea movement – it tries to recalculate proportionally, but it uses the movement points the hero will have at the *start* of the next day, rather than the movement points they had at the *beginning* of the current day, as the maximum. The difference lies in the artifacts (boots and gloves), so if you disembark without the artifacts and embark with them, the movement points increase. Then, you keep going until you're completely satisfied, and you only pay with time.
