I drove myself into a difficult situation early in the 2nd week and at that moment encountered an opponent near the central village. But the opponent didn't attack, and Marius calmly expanded by using consumables to summon 7 angels.
On the 3rd turn, I got a decent pair of mermaids with good stats. I built a teleportation and Armageddon in two high-level dwellings.
On the 4th turn, Claudius appeared. Before he reached the Fortress, I outsmarted him with Armageddon, and the opponent surrendered.
