Is death the end of the road or the beginning of a new life?

I believe that every person deserves to receive the afterlife they believed in (I agree with Leley), but if a person believes in Heaven and Hell and believes that despite their sins, they will end up in Heaven, then they will end up in Hell because, on a subconscious level, they know they are not worthy of Heaven. In many religions, after death, a person judges themselves. A similar situation is described in the film "Kingdom of Heaven," where the main character says: "Up there, there will be no bosses or commanders, and there will be no one to give you orders."
