I agree, there is more than enough time for the turn, but for the battle, especially for a beginner, it's just chaos. Taking a Dwarf on turn 1 simply burns through the timer, and if the Dwarf is near max or max level, it's even worse.
Exactly. In some battles, it's not about thinking, but about the sheer number of turns. When you're chasing a bunch of Dwarves and lining them up for a direct shot, it takes a lot of time. And not going for a Dwarf that you can take on the first turn because of the timer is also stupid. That's why I would like there to be an option to do something else after the battle. That is, after a certain amount of time (3-6 minutes), the timer stops consuming your time. Such battles don't happen often, and if the timer pauses on one or two battles, it will save the player about 10 minutes, so there's no point in deliberately prolonging the battles, but it will reduce the number of mistakes players make, and they will also get more enjoyment from winning a difficult battle.
