I clearly expressed my support for the proposed rules. Reducing the number of templates available each round actually makes the template selection more diverse. The same applies to the reduced set of pairs – pairs that simply don't appear when drawing from the full list repeatedly occur because some factions – for example, Dungeon and Necropolis – are immediately eliminated. In Heroes of Might and Magic III, I repeatedly advanced in the previous league when it was included in the list of templates.
