What principles are we talking about? Tournaments aren't organized for testing map templates; they're for fun! I want to play on the maps I like, not on the ones the organizers decided to choose, regardless of how they did it! I really don't want to be forced to play bad maps like M3; it's no fun at all! If we adopt the rule of choosing a map from the complete list, that would be fair, and each pair could choose the map they like best; no one would be stopping them from choosing popular maps on the spot! But the rule of three is a complete letdown, in my opinion, without any justification! I hope the organizers will listen to me.
