Started at the top. The stable is behind a castle. Gunar grabbed an artifact on level-up. On day 113, I killed the computer's tower and took a Citadel. On day 117, I got two Efreet and teleported them. I built a Manticores in the Citadel.
In the second week, I took a treasure chest worth 10k experience, then 3 Hives, another treasure chest worth 5k experience. I defended and got a +2 speed amulet.
Then I ran to the treasure map. There I took a Dungeon, a treasure chest for the entire 5th level of magic. In the castle, I built 4 GMs with teleport. On day 136, with control, I took 2 more Hives and a lair for Draconians and Imps. That's 36 creatures.
Then I took Utopia 2, which gave me boots for speed.
I maxed out Earth and took an Underground center town.
From there, I split up, learned Teleport. Then I took Consulate 1, a few Hives (68 creatures already), a treasure chest for 15 Warlords, Utopia 1 (with a spell protection cuirass), and wings.
I started taking castles from the opponent. I took the main castle, then a Fortress, then some other towns. I upgraded the Draconians and, by the 4th week, I had:
Gunar 15-15-18-100 mana, 4500 MP. Perfect leveling. All expert.
5 Cyclops Draconians, 68 creatures, 20 Gloom Stalkers, 16 (or so) Minotaurs, 7 Minotaur Guards, 6 Cats. An Angel.
Tant, the opponent, appears. Tava writes that my army strength is higher. And I, a fool, attack with the Gauntlets of Power. There are about 500 skeletons, 8 Angels, 8 Dread Knights, 10+ Liches, 26 Lizards, 28 creatures.
Tant 16-21-28-500 mana.
He has the right spells and a Chain Lightning spell.
My attack was very weak.
