The problem can be seen in the screenshot; it would be fine if we didn't see the available cells for the turn, but they also leave their illusion in the previous location, and soon this screen bug causes this to happen.

It's as if the texture catalog is half empty.
It's quite possible - I once had about 40 files disappear in one game (not Heroes). But such situations are usually isolated and don't repeat after reinstalling or on other machines.
