The first week was extremely difficult, with the added challenge of long troop movement routes. The gains were minimal, and both troops and economy were tight. I barely managed by relying on Pyre's ballista, while Gunar had no way to improve his abilities.
The second week still could not break the deadlock, but Pyre's abilities saw a significant boost. Upon detecting enemy traces, I found their forces stronger than mine. Moreover, in my attempt to seize gold+500, I almost lost all my troops. Therefore, I kept showcasing Pyre's abilities, hoping to make theShevanesian hesitate and refrain from rashly attacking.
In the third week, I began to harass theShevanesian. Having obtained 1 angel and summoned 1 Archangel from the Refugee Camp, I split my forces into two. One group, led by Pyre with 1 angel, quickly captured an enemy town to restrict the enemy's movement space and traveled long distances to obtain boots. The other group, led by Gunar with 1 Archangel and Pit Lords, expanded territory and summoned Demons. They captured two enemy main towns, built Firebird and Capital, and both economy and army began to strengthen.
By the fourth week, my army was already superior to theShevanesian's, so I launched an attack, swiftly capturing several of his cities, including his main town. TheShevanesian seemed unable to resist, allowing me to expand unchecked, and lost a Rampart village that already had a level 3 Mage Guild. I promptly built level 4, obtaining Town Portal (TP) magic, and later level 5 yielded Dimension Door (DD)—this was the key to winning the entire match.
Development proceeded smoothly thereafter. Gunar's abilities grew strong, and he even learned Resurrection magic. While Pyre continuously encircled and annihilated theShevanesian's scattered troops, Gunar attacked the Utopia, gathering 140+ Demons, with both economy and army surpassing the enemy's.
Although theShevanesian managed to acquire a level 5 cap during his escape and gathered decent forces including 17 angels, he had no further room for growth. Lacking TP and unable to match my movement speed, he eventually surrendered.
