What the hell? I spoke with Sasha Horn in August. He clearly told me: "Eric, the next CIS event will be in St. Petersburg." Horn is a serious guy; I've never known him to talk nonsense. I've already arranged accommodation for the whole family with some acquaintances and was planning to go. I ended up in the hospital for an examination for a week, and now I see this. The topic has been renamed, and Horn apparently didn't say anything about St. Petersburg or Volgograd anymore.
It's not a big deal for me; I won't start a fight, I'll cancel the apartment rental, there's still plenty of time. But it's strange; I opened a topic that was detrimental to myself.
Regarding St. Petersburg, the suggestion was to "hang out" in a non-existent gaming club, walk around Nevsky Prospekt at night, ride the subway, and it's unclear where to warm up and how much it would cost, and how to get to the overnight stay – for whom were you planning to find a base if you preferred to live in an apartment?
