When a person creates it, they are based on their own views, vision of the Tournament format. You can give advice, but only in a recommendatory form, but you don't need to so brazenly impose your point of view. If your advice is suitable for the Tournament – okay, if not – learn to accept it calmly without unnecessary shouting and don't impose it. Why did you get so worked up and keep pointing out that it's wrong because we're going to play according to this regulation and not yours? I don't interfere in your Tournaments, I don't tell you how you should do it, and I don't point out that you're wrong if, in my opinion, it would be better to do it differently...
Do you even realize that when drawing up the regulations, it is impossible to determine the correctness in the context of your dispute? You can want to play with tiers, or without, you can choose captains, or determine all tiers by rating, you can have transfers, or without, you can have a random draw, or based on the principle of summing up the ratings of players from weakest to strongest, you can have groups + Olympic system, or playoffs. There are no such distinctions of right and wrong here. It all depends on the individual views of the Tournament organizers and what they want to implement. And the participants read and choose whether to play or not. That's all.
There is no talk of rightness, but of the fact that, as an organizer, I see this format as acceptable for its implementation. I have heard all the statements, many of which do not suit me because you have a completely different vision. And the difference mainly lies in the fact that you don't understand sports at all (let's skip chess), but on the contrary, I am very close to it in life and in my interests.
The system of distributing participants into tiers is a generally accepted practice in the world. All ratings in sports also do not always show the real strength of players (but the whole sports world follows them), because all ratings are obtained only from sports results, based on mathematical formulas. In our rating, games in the season and Tournaments are also included, and to refuse it or disown it is a wild misconception of your old-fashioned views.
It's time to stop with the subjective determination of the strength of players.
Recruiting players into tiers is a professional approach to the chosen Competitive event, because the recruitment takes place in a strict sequence and with a fair, open, and transparent form of team determination. Fairness is subjective here, but the subject of evaluation is the RATING, based on past achievements.
I won't argue anymore and it's time to stop cluttering up the topic with the same old arguments.
