In the near future, I plan to hold a tournament using the Olympic cup system with strict deadlines. Draft regulations: 0) Games are played until one player wins. 1) Registration for the tournament lasts 7-10 days. The time limit for a game is 2 days: 1 day for playing, and 1 day for finishing the game. The game starts at 7:00 PM Moscow time. Players must play for at least 6 hours before they can request a postponement. The tournament will include breaks, most likely on Sunday and Monday. 2) A total of 2 days of restarts are allowed. The organizer monitors attendance at the tournament. Being 20 minutes late results in a loss of 1 restart day; being 40 minutes late results in the player losing all restart days; being 1 hour late results in a technical loss. This applies to each player (if both players are late, both lose restart days). Players may start the game earlier at a time that is more convenient for them, but they must inform the organizer. 3) Technical results are awarded by the tournament judge. After the game time limit expires, the unfinished game is submitted for a technical decision. The position is evaluated as if both players had revealed their save files and have complete information about each other. 4) If the number of participants is not a power of 2 (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, etc.), some players will receive a bye in the first round. Priority for receiving a bye: 1 - Victory in FB7 2 - Victory in Lyubimchiki-6 3 - 2nd/3rd place in FB7 4 - 2nd/3rd place in Lyubimchiki-6 5 - Victory in any other online tournament 6 - 2nd/3rd place in any other online tournament 7 - Consistent seasonal rating 5) The player listed higher in the pair chooses the map (and also chooses the color). Their opponent then chooses the starting castles. List of maps: 8mm6a (20+8+1), 6lm10a (20+8+1), JC (22+8+1), Diamond (22+8+1), 2sm4d(3) (18+6+1), Balance L-U (18+6+1). The numbers in parentheses indicate the chess clock time used for that map. The time can be changed by mutual agreement, but only to a shorter time.
