Is death the end of the road or the beginning of a new life?

I support OptiMal and also believe that our souls have lived, are living, and will continue to live!...
I sometimes experience something like déjà vu, but it's not quite the same... for example:
"I'm sitting, watching TV (BBC about the people of Papua), and a guy is walking with a camera along a path. A little further ahead, there's a bend in the path, and he hasn't reached it yet, but I suddenly have a feeling that I know what's there (there was a large tree with a snake's skull carved into it and various inscriptions)...."
The most interesting thing is that this feeling lasted for only a second, but I saw so much."
So, it's possible that in one of my past lives, I was a Papua New Guinean... :)
