I fully agree. In any round of the OFB, were there matches between contenders for qualifying that should have been played to the end? There are deadlines for the round; after they expire, either a technical loss is declared, or a win is awarded!
The option of replaying the matches and crediting the results in the final OFB, without warning about this option before the start of the game, doesn't hold up to any criticism.
It's strange that, based on my experience, the calm and objective Pit supports such a strange (to put it mildly) decision.
