The Psionic units are immune to all magic, and if you increase the number of birds by 2, the upgraded version will be quite powerful.
Regarding the Red Rush: let's say the Red faction has 4 Angel dwellings. In the castle, they get an additional 4 Angels. If the upgrade is built, 4 Archangels is a lot; prohibit the Red Rush.
And the Fairies are weak, but their speed is like that of the swamp snakes. That faction already has good speed, so prohibit the upgrade.
