There have been many discussions about removing texts from the Rules that allow certain actions. But why write down all the permissions? There's a phrase: what isn't forbidden is allowed. After all, there are more permissions than prohibitions. You can't write everything down.
We only prohibit the use of magic on heroes. Everything else is allowed. The game should contain an element of surprise, and it's quite possible that fairies will cast a nasty spell on you, and Armor will be an unpleasant surprise. Try to be prepared for various unpleasant things from your opponent, within the rules.
