Well, if the Mafia doesn't kill Marcus, then Marcus will most likely win. The question is, who will Marcus kill? We could list all the possible scenarios, but it's not really necessary, and there's a chance of a draw, although it's unlikely.
If Morny is recruited, I doubt that executing Marcus would give the sides a more equal chance of winning, compared to the opposite.
