Actually, I like dark elves the most; they are a faction too, but for some reason they aren't in the poll.
I preferred dragons, and I also really like minotaurs.
And I can't stand Knights more than anyone else—blackmailing dragons by using a child is not knightly; it's mean and dishonorable. Anathema to dragon slayers!
Between clerics/necromancers, I prefer clerics; necromancers deal with far more unnatural things after all.
P.S. Regarding the spy cleric. Have you forgotten that his mind completely snapped while in the Necromancer guild? After staying there, he didn't give a damn whose life he had to ruin. By the way, once while playing as a cleric, I formed an alliance with the necromancers' guild—now that is truly "Who on earth are they recruiting into their Temple?!"
