Geb realized that it would be a long way for him and the goblin to get back to their own. He hoped that Amy had successfully relayed the information to the captain. The guy couldn't bring himself to shoot others in the back, especially the creatures, so he simply decided to discreetly disable as many mechanisms as possible. If he was caught in this disreputable activity, Geb was counting on cunning, but he was ready to put up a fight as a last resort.
