It was a tough game; my opponent ran out of reinforcements, and I got a decent amount of Elves. I decided to play... but it wasn't that simple. The game generated a very long and winding single path. Out of the four resource nodes I visited, only Mini-Hives and Mini-Cons were available, while my opponent, by the middle of the second week, had 5+ Angels, 200+ Skeletons, and 20+ Wyverns. Naturally, a confrontation was undesirable, so I had to navigate through the wilderness in another direction. There, I killed a couple of computer-controlled heroes, and Kirusha leveled up nicely, getting boots and gloves. The resource gathering was in full swing. After clearing half of the first tier, I left almost all my troops there and, thanks to a found Cons (3), Kirusha started clearing the second tier. There, Pandora occupied the entire 4th level, along with a Teleportation Scroll. I built a GM5 with a library in the tower. There, I got a Dread Knight, and immediately after, I took a Utopia from the first tier with a Crown! Everything seemed great, but I had seen in a replay a week ago how a bunch of my opponent's heroes disappeared from the tier where he was, and by day 141, he was already sitting with Archons. This almost certainly meant he had Teleportation, which turned out to be the case. He emerged after the second tier, also with a Dread Knight. The resource gathering was going well, with an Armageddon Scroll. I leveled up a powerful mage at the altar, giving him the Sphere of Fire and Cursed Armor. On day 211, I failed, with a Plague Month event. Considering that I controlled most of the map, I spent another week maneuvering, setting everything up to trap him in a castle and then attack. But there, he had a Cloak of Negation (sadness, I think I'll have to keep running around, finishing off the map, and waiting for mistakes). However, a mistake happened on day 221!!!! My opponent buys Marksmen and a Rogue with horses, and with Marksmen (without ranged attack), he kills my Rogue (with the same Marksmen; he also killed my main hero, so this was definitely a net gain). Redraw! A completely valid one, not even fabricated! Well, hooray for the victory, gentlemen. I hope that the higher-ups will soon remove this damned rule. For now, I think I'll stop banging my head against the wall and move on. Thanks for your time. :smile39:
