Her injured leg caused her unpleasant pain, and the journey to the cemetery, which she and Akane had begun with good intentions, turned out to be pointless and was frustrating from the very beginning: for an entire day, they searched for clues, examined the surroundings, and simply waited for something unclear. The captive they had rescued immediately ran away, leaving them without answers, just like the governor was doing at the moment: she didn't explain anything at all about what the girls had seen earlier, but remained completely calm, which meant that it didn't require her immediate reaction, which could indicate that something similar had happened before, or that she was simply incompetent. Selena couldn't be sure of any of this, but now, in this state, she listened with unusual disgust to the conversation between the governor and the captain.
