Heroes VII

I doubt people will like it, especially after the fifth installment in the series; they're expecting something different.

As far as I can tell, most players who are looking forward to the new game are hoping for a return to the roots of the series. I wouldn't say that the fanbase has grown significantly, but I could be wrong.
