I found a source of new maps that I hadn't seen before, and it turns out they were created by Heroista, and I'm slowly enjoying them. The cutscenes and dialogues are amazing. It's clear that the person put a lot of effort into it.
Regarding the gameplay.
Basically, we have a companion character with overpowered abilities, but that's okay. I saw discussions in the forums about the difficulty/completion. On my heroes, which don't differ much in mechanics, the game can be completed "with a single stack" (and I'm sure Rambo did it that way too?).
At the beginning, you take machines/archers/etc., just to level up easily. There's the Path of Darkness. There's the Mentor and Utopia. Conclusion: we level up the Darkness skill, create a huge stack of Inquisitors/Adept, who either defeat everyone with their vampirism ability, or tank while the Berserk + Subjugation do their job. For defense on large maps + Bringer of Decay, we take the Mentor and create a bunch of level 20-25 units. Something like that ;)
It was really difficult only with Rolf.
P.S. Respect and kudos to the author, make more :smile20:
