I got three completely stale generations in a row. Then I got opponent twice in a row and it dealt me almost without a chance. The respawn is small and poor. One exit on the road to the underground. I pushed through off-road to the lava, where I collected a few chests and piles, but the treasure zone turned out to be completely useless. Two more treasure zones were on the snow and were narrow corridors where there was absolutely nothing. Well okay, one had a necklace +3 to all and a Pandora's Box for 10+ hydras. The only decent treasure zone turned out to be the first one, the underground one. There were as many as 2 Dragon Fly Hives and 1 Griffin Conservatory along the roads. Also a library and two Pandora's Boxes. So I had to play like that. On the first week there wasn't much money, but I built creatures in the castle, largely thanks to an external market near the capital. There was nowhere and nothing to level up, no troops or suitable neutrals. On week 2 day 1 I somehow bought creatures and took a Dwarf Cottage. Then I broke through 50+ basilisks for an anti-dispel orb. Gundula picked up decent skills, but the opponent had Dessa, Boots of Speed, Griffin Conservatories from week 2 day 2, Titan... Then I went to the Inferno computer. It turned out I just lost about 1.5 days. However, I got an income of 2000 and during that delay I collected some gold. On week 2 day 4 I take two Dragon Fly Hives — 12 Wyverns. Army back home, creature upgrade, which allows me to take Griffin Conservatory 3 fairly easily on week 2 day 5. Then I visit the library, clear a Pandora's Box for 5k experience, and stop at the stables. On week 3 day 1 I take another Pandora's Box for 15k experience and run out of desperation into one of the opponent's underground treasure zones. It turned out he hadn't been there yet — and that was a mistake. I took Boots +2 to all, another couple of Dragon Fly Hives, and sat in a village. Next to it — a Dragon Utopia! I take it, it gives good stats, +6 all and Sentinel's Shield (a two-slotter), but still no magic at all. I run further to scout the treasure zone, discover a Conservatory. The Observation Tower shows a Tome of Air! In some far corner of my underground treasure zone. Then Dessa arrived. Stats slightly lower, troops slightly fewer, but Explosion with 25 spell power will clearly decide the fight not in my favor. I give up the capital, set up a chain to break through to the spell book. Everything aligns perfectly and Gundula, it seemed, was escaping. However, Dessa runs very fast and almost catches up with me in one day, already with the week 4 growth. Nothing to be done, I grab +1 Luck, +1 Attack and desperately attack. But there from combat magic there's only a Bolt for 600+ damage! I have 5 Behemoths, 34 Wyverns, 20 Wolves, 80 Goblins, 7 Angels, and 9 Birds. There — 6 Giants, a Titan, 24 Wyverns, a few Mages, 120+ Blue, a couple of Genies, 6 Angels, a Titan. Three rounds are quite enough for me to cut down almost everyone. I'm left with 13 Wyverns, 3 Angels, and 5 Behemoths plus a few Goblins. The opponent loses everything and runs off to build a Mage Guild. I run to the spell book. On week 4 day 4 I break through the guard and stop near the artifact. Meanwhile, Dessa goes to a very unpleasant part of the map for me, where there's a Cape of Speed and a Pandora's Box with all Air magic. Catching her now becomes practically impossible (4.5k movement points + Dimension Door). She spends the night in my former village. On week 4 day 5 I realize my only chance is to engage now. The plan was 3 Dragon Fly Hives and a Titan's Sword, but I give up on everything, take 6 Wyverns from one, calculate the movement points exactly and, luckily, catch her. I had 3 Angels, 5 Behemoths, 19 Wyverns against 6 Nagas, 2 Behemoths, 80 Gargoyles, and 5 Mages. I cut everything down in three rounds.
Thank you for the game!
