Biography: Being an elf, intelligence, and money – these are three factors that can make Regis have a positive attitude towards new acquaintances. If the last one is explained by purely business interest and the desire to earn money by selling one of his potions to a client, then the other two reasons are more personal in nature. Due to his passion, Regis feels most comfortable communicating with people who share his interests or are engaged in other scientific fields, like his friend Victor. Although he is a dwarf, their common aspirations and goals brought them together, leading to business cooperation, which later turned into friendship. As for national issues, it was this that became the main reason why Regis took up potion making. Everyone knows that elves are physically weaker than humans, and some other races. This fact seemed to Regis as something like a flaw in the physiology of elves, an innate injustice, and therefore he wanted to find a way to correct it. Of course, you can resort to certain types of weapons or magic, but all this is too expensive and readily available, or requires certain skills and a large amount of time needed for training. After some time, he found what he was looking for. The answer lay in the science of potion making, with which it was possible to create not only healing concoctions or strong poisons, but also an elixir that increases the physical and magical abilities of the person drinking this potion. Therefore, Regis set out in search of an alchemist who could teach him this craft. Over time, he found such a mentor, and the young elf began to take his first steps towards achieving his goal. By the end of his apprenticeship, he knew most of the names of various ingredients, recipes for potions, and was able to independently prepare some of them. The result pleased him, and everything seemed fine, but Regis had a feeling that he could make something more effective and powerful, capable of turning an ordinary Sylvian into a mighty warrior or magician,endowing him with abilities that would surpass those of any human, orc, or mage.
