I am a fan of the SoD timer because I play many games at work, and sometimes there is a need (the boss unexpectedly showed up) to pause in battle, but something still needs to be changed... :)

I am not a fan of the SoD timer because I periodically play at work, and the boss may call during my turn. I can't just rush into attacking the nearest monsters. And people who consistently take 40 minutes per turn are also annoying.

Conclusion: the problem is not with the SoD timer, but with the fact that you shouldn't play at work:D
