The map is crazy, tons of resources, no money, small spread + tiny respawn. I took the Pandora's Box on 113 with a scout hero, leveling him in Off./Off., Wisdom, Scholar, and then I got the idea to build the Mage Guild instead of Drakes: Oil, Portal; Berserker (with rebuilding), 5th - Earth crap. I took two Dragon Fly Hives for 10 Wyverns and a single Griffin Conservatory by 121. All artifacts are stat-based (+4/+4 Atk./Def. (Armor), +3/+3 Spd./Knowl., +2/+2 Atk./Def., +1 All (Armor), Shield +3/+3, Pendant of Courage, Gauntlets of Speed, only no Hats. Before a very important fight for the Pandora's Box: 15k experience, I then checked (the reward was worthless because I used a scout hero and it was in a corner of the respawn) for 100 Unupgraded Beholders (losses would have been 12 Elves and 5 Wyverns, Wyverns had also been lost before that, -2). Even if Tant leveled Expert Oil and Expert Berserker, it still would have been better to get gold or an army; there was a level 6 Luna and a level 7 Mephala. By 125, the GO fell without issue under Luna with Berserk on 1-stacks for 5 casts and a Ripple, then finishing them off with Mephala, and buying back Tant in the Tower for GO with full (60 mana). But none of this happened until 124; I made it all up after checking. I simply conceded on 124. Growth not bought, in the fort 1-6.
