The comment about moderators struck a chord. I am, of course, a vested party, but tell me: do many people really want to spend all night calculating ratings, then spend a couple of hours editing the table, and then use their mobile phone (at exorbitant prices) to access the internet so that someone can read it? Do many people want to identify duplicate topics and move them? And much more.
The comment about girls also struck a chord. Perhaps it would be better to read the message first and then look at the author's gender? I find that the posts of our female users are much more informative than those of some (I won't point fingers) male users.
