I also started playing it yesterday, by the way. At first, the map is enjoyable: by the 2nd week, Leondegrance has a very decent army for the start of the war – but later, of course, when it comes to dealing with enemies, it won't seem like enough! :) However, when I went to the dungeon with Sorophin, I ran into an ambush. :smile19: Overall, the map is good because of its linearity: you don't need to figure out where to go next, and you need to fight enemies in order (like in Longest Journey).
By the way, here's a tip (if you haven't missed it): you must capture the 4th Stronghold, Ooresdome, no later than the 1st month, 4th week, 3rd day! Why? You'll see what happens on the 25th day! ;)
