A difficult game turned out, primarily because of the timer and my papal bluff (how can one manage to think about what to do with 5-6 heroes on full control in these 8 minutes - I don't know, I probably never had that much APM even when playing WC3 in my time).
Having scratched out anarchy (didn't want a coinflip), I got a blue Minotaur, though my opponent surprised me by taking the first Rampart computer, I calmly drafted Necropolis, Swamp, and Tower for change (as it turned out later, this Tower was no joke :)).
The plan was simple as usual - find a Necro, start necromancing, and then level up the Pope in a treasure zone in a week. On day one, I got Vidomina, a so-so Necro, but still, poor respawn - long roads to the computers, but I decide not to restart yet. On day two, nothing changes, same dullness. And then, instead of calmly taking 112, I transfer my entire army to Vidomina so that the opponent would take 112 himself — the plan doesn't work; the turn is passed to me. In the tavern, I found Mullich — I go all-in, now the whole army is on Mullich. "Well, now you'll definitely take 113," I thought and went for a smoke.
Again a miss, no restart — we play on.
To avoid writing a wall of text, I'll just say that the first two weeks were a nightmare. No money, no troops, couldn't necromance — 120 bones in two weeks. I ran around killing computers with mixed success, leveled up Deiss because he got Logistics.
By 131, I broke into a treasure zone, and it was tiny — got one Dragon Fly Hive there, crashed, went home to another treasure zone. The Pope's stats were something like 7-3 :), level 9 or 10. Lucky with the treasure zone — 3 or 4 Dragon Fly Hives, resulting in a stack of 28 Wyverns, a chest for meat, which allowed me, after losing all 8 horses, to take a Dragon Utopia — there were Wings and a Shield +4 All — excellent! There I also took a chest for 3 Titans, and off we went.
From week 4 with the Wings, I expanded, took a Dragon Utopia with КЗ and КВ (before that, honestly leveled up Deiss's Wisdom, built a useless Mage Guild, collected scrolls, etc.), and more Dragon Fly Hives. An unpleasant thing happens — Deiss is poorly leveled, no armor, but First Aid is there. Meanwhile, the opponent is fully leveling Crag Hack during this time, army and stats have been higher since day one, I don't even look into the tavern anymore so as not to get upset :). I decide to snatch the central treasure zone from the opponent, succeed, there are 4 Dragon Fly Hives and a couple of chests; Titans were built in the Tower (by the way, in one of the treasure zones there was an external dwelling of them). Now fewer problems, but still — no Pope, no money for Angels or Archangels, I don't even think about upgrading Titans yet. The army there is still stronger, and I already have a lot too — 8 Angels, 60+ Wyverns, 500+ bones (forgot to mention, since gaining control I started necromancing when possible).
The center is eaten, one treasure zone is eaten, another small one, a third treasure zone gave nothing except one idiotic Dragon Utopia and a couple of Dragon Fly Hives, though money appeared — I built and upgraded Angels. Upon viewing, I see there is a huge treasure zone still at the opponent's, which he hasn't visited.
I give the entire army to Mullich (10 Archangels, 3 Titans, and 70+ Wyverns), with this army I jump into the unknown (I've already given up on level 23 Deiss, leveling Mullich fully because he got Tactics, Offense, Earth Magic). And there is the climax — 3 Dragon Utopias, one of them max, where I gather the Alliance — absolutely unreal timing! The opponent is already in this treasure zone, I fly away with Mullich safe and sound because the army there is still stronger!
Then I spend two or three days (oh, those 8 minutes, the mouse was smoking periodically) gathering and upgrading meat, necromance a bit more, 3 Necros on full control.
In the end, Crag Hack reached this piece of the treasure zone that I "stole" days earlier. Even though Mullich, after Offense, Tactics, and Earth Magic, caught nothing else worthwhile, I calmly attack.
At Crag Hack, combat stats 30+, magic stats don't matter — I have Magic Resistance, a hundred Wyverns, a hundred Demons (they were demonizing there), 10 Angels, about 20 birds, and assorted small fry.
But this Mullich, with this army, didn't let Crag Hack get a turn ;) (it's hard to see in the picture, won't upload in better quality — 117 Monks, 12 Archangels, 11 Titans, 1600+ upgraded Skeletons, 40 Basilisks, 80 Marksmen, a few Flies)
Thank you for an interesting game!
Moner showed up at the start, revealed 2 Griffin Conservatories on 3-4, and decided to play. I spent a very long time dealing with the computers, and got unlucky with the chosen direction — the juiciest treasure zone turned out to be the last one, where the opponent had already partially dropped in. Control was only found closer to the end; the Dragon Utopias mostly had junk. Thanks for the game.
