He might be annoying, but what does the timer have to do with it? If he spends too long on his turn for no reason, that's one thing, but discussing the timer itself is another. According to you, everyone who plays with a SOD timer is just wasting time. That's not true. Yes, there are such people; let's discuss them, criticize them, punish them somehow, or maybe not accept them into tournaments. Then, the choice will be a real choice.
