When Tarvicius's body recovered, he immediately rushed out of the Temple with a狂笑 on his face. In his peripheral vision, he saw the wizard continuing to fight some warriors and Dalingr, the ruler of the new district – yes, it was him, without a doubt. Seeing the city engulfed in flames, the mage hurried to the Breeze. If the ship survived, Agares would most likely sail away immediately to escape the fire. Tarvicius ran and laughed like a madman.
"Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! May the Emperor protect! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! He burned that damned city! Burned it! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"
An incomprehensible and uncharacteristic outburst of laughter caught Tarvicius off guard. Barely catching his breath from laughing and running, he finally reached the ship and, ignoring the people gathered on the deck, sat down against the wall, trying to catch his breath and still chuckling.
"He burned it," Tarvicius continued to mutter to himself, "burned it... I wonder if I'll see that mad wizard again?"
A Scalpclaw circled above the Breeze. Noticing it, Tarvicius whistled, and the eagle immediately flew to him and perched on his shoulder.
"Good thing you weren't hurt," said the mage, stroking the eagle's head.
