I had a funny thing happen. Playing as Ilay, I captured the upper demon castle in the first week. As I approached the exit, I received a message: "The blue player has lost." I went upstairs, and it turned out that Horknest had captured the demon castle. I thought, "Whatever," defeated him, and cleared the surrounding area – the quest was completed. But who knew that he had killed Duncan! As a result, I didn't have nearly enough troops. On my second attempt, a few days after liberating Horknest, a level 23 demon with an incredibly powerful army came and defeated me (along with all my heroes). I'll have to try again.
