From the very first days, Nevermore lived up to all of Velda's expectations: the city was full of cowards, bandits, and thieves. It was unlikely that anyone other than such scum would enjoy living in this den of vipers. However, to her great surprise, the city also had some fun places. One of these places turned out to be the arena, a haven for brave and worthy warriors... or so Velda thought, until she saw a fight between a demonic monster and a scrawny wizard. This fight only reinforced her negative impressions, and as a result, she didn't even watch the other fights.
Instead, the northerner decided to take care of business, and she had exactly two things to do: find out more about the cult and sign up for an expedition. Weighing the pros and cons, she decided to start with the cult. After all, the expedition ship wouldn't sail until after the tournament.
