The start was average; Grendan helped pull the game through, taking 2 Dragon Utopias on turn 3 with 2 Angels and 12 Vivi's. At the start of turn 4, I take the opponent's Castle, getting the missing Dimension Door there. The advantage in stats and army is total; two Infernos are built with Efreeti, Solmyr and Grendan both with full control and excellent stats. I plan to cover the opponent's remaining Castles in a day or two, but I decide to first take the Dragon Utopia on the sand and the Dragon Fly Hive in the center. Here I make a mistake and cast 3 Dimension Doors with 2 heroes with control; I got a bit overwhelmed, I write about this to the opponent, and he requests a technical loss. This set me off (he said then let's go for a draw, but I was already on a roll), let me explain the reasons:

I. I can be absent-minded, so I offered the opponent to play with hw rules, but he refused (though later he wrote that if I had insisted, he would have agreed. A classic "if only" story).
II. I hate players who use such tactics when they are obviously losing.
III. I agree that I was wrong and have the right to a technical loss. But if the opponent had said, yes, I'm losing but I have the right, and let's discuss what to do, instead he writes to me with a smug grin about a technical loss, then later backpedals to a draw, as if he's doing me a favor.
IV. There are people who follow every letter of the formalities, and if that's their principle, it's understandable. But Darkello, who always plays the "righteous guy," the proper one, constantly trolls during the game (which has caused me to fail in battle before — pressing spacebar at the wrong time or wait) suddenly takes a formal position and exposes, in my view, all the hypocrisy of his persona.

That's why I didn't want to make peace with this fellow, because his toughness turned out to be a cover for his ambition and his pursuit of first place in the season by any means necessary.

I write again that I acknowledge my defeat, which is why I am posting this game myself (because I decided Darkello would now feign nobility and after the "conflict" refused to write the win, although he really wanted to at first, even contacting the AK), but what infuriated me was how Darkello did it, someone who never follows in-game ethics himself.

P/S: I've sworn off playing with him unless it's a meeting within some tournament framework.
