Nemo's attempt to pull Kelenor's arm free resulted in the limb shattering into pieces. Sapphire, however, was successfully freed, although this did not affect the condition of her companions in any way.
When Nemo opened the fourth door, she found only a wall behind her, to which some kind of precious stone was attached. It immediately exploded and released the Mark of Death. Due to her magic resistance, Nemo was unharmed.
