When the expedition returned to the ruins, they discovered, to their surprise, that no one was guarding the place anymore. One could only guess what had happened here before. Here and there, corpses of snake people could be seen, although it was clear that these were not all the ones they had encountered last time. To the great regret of the group, and especially Kuetsi, the commander of the snake people's rampage had turned the ruins into a pile of stones, and everything else that could have been useful was also destroyed, as were the walls that could have been used for defense. Because of what happened, neither Kuetsi nor Gaheg could even approximately determine who might have been the creator of this place.
The good news was that there was also some kind of dungeon here, possibly a tomb, the entrance to which was undamaged.
