Confirmed. I decided not to restart a good road junction and 2 external archer dwellings, with an external pikeman dwelling. I revealed the Angel Portal on the 2nd day for 20-49 mages and intended to invest in building Angels and capturing the external dwelling by the end of the week. Then I discovered a GO of Faerie Dragons and next to it 2 home Dragon Utopias and realized I'd have to go into Archangels, otherwise it would be painful. Deep in the spawn I also found 2 more Angel Portals which I managed to take on the 2nd week. After capturing the portals, I ran out of money and had to break through a Dragon Utopia with 7 Angels and a motley stack of fodder. In the 1st Griffin Conservatory (level 2) only 5 Angels survived — they gave the Air Book and a shield for +3 attack and defense. Then I ran out of gems, and I had already traded away all the other resources. I spent too much time on all this and finally broke into the GO only on day 131 with 9 Archangels and 50 Archers. I had hope for a big center and the chance to gather some Dragon Utopias — Archangel growth was 8 per week — but my opponent closed in on me the very next day. Without mana and stats, the Archangels couldn't pull it off.

We took all the restarts. 2 roads were blocked. I needed to take the Dragon Fly Hive — it turned out to be max-size — couldn't handle it.
