- I see two options. We can try to reach another settlement if we have enough supplies, consider the operation a failure and head back, or continue the expedition as planned, acquire valuable artifacts, and... reach the Old World, as our ancestors once did. Or at least some eastern port or settlement from which we can travel further. Who knows? If all these catastrophes and the deaths of thousands of innocent people are on your conscience, perhaps you will meet your "witch" in the east.
- Last time, the journey to the New World took travelers almost ten years. Do you think we can cover that distance in two months? - Ratislav smirked. - You say the deaths of people are on my conscience? Let me remind you that the witch would hardly have caused such chaos in the city if Adrian hadn't brought all those demonic things there. It seems she did something with the sphere, or maybe she just needed the cloak. We should have destroyed those items along with her cursed hut.
After a short pause, Ratislav continued:
- As for our route. You are right about one thing, Amos: we will hardly have time to help the people in the city. Well, we have enough supplies, which means we need to find these ruins. But to do that, we will have to pass through the city of the natives. What are your orders regarding this?
