Heroes 6 - Discussion

I've been struggling with this for two days. I have both the physical (collector's) version and the digital Steam edition. The problem is that the Steam version works, but the physical version doesn't (either it doesn't sync saves, or somehow the Steam saves are being applied to the physical version in Uplay, and now Uplay won't connect at all). I've made almost complete progress in the physical version, and more than half of the Dynasty weapons have been upgraded to level 5. In short, it's a nightmare, and I don't know what to do.
