Dark roads go in different directions, gold came in alright, but as it turned out, 2 out of 3 roads were blocked, and naturally I headed there first thing, poked the hydras in the Citadel and then everything went smoothly. On day 126 I freed a hero from prison, losing almost my entire army down to 2 hydras and 8 archers, but the hero came with Earth magic and was a mage to boot. On day 131 a Griffin Conservatory 2 dropped, along with 3 Dragon Fly Hives, then another couple and a Griffin Conservatory, and I rushed to the nearest Dragon Utopia. There I got a level 5 hat and a few stats. As luck would have it, I didn't have enough mana (had 19, i.e. not enough for Dimension Door, but fortunately Town Portal wasn't far to the second Dragon Utopia, so I dashed there, a couple of turns short. Then I spotted the opponent's army on the minimap via scouting, broke into the Dragon Utopia, and there, as if on cue, was a КЗ, plus Town Portal, Dimension Door, all via the well, and I barely scraped by to reach it. gg
